The easiest way to make them go where you want is to: use the smallest size of your paintbrush and paint lines at a steady (but not too fast) speed. You’ll be encountering lots of these bugs in this area. You’ll need to draw lines of paint to lead them away from the edge and unblock your path. These large bugs enjoy eating paint and have huge stones on their backs. Continue into the cave and you come across some new creatures. Shortly after walking into Grub Deep, you meet Prunus, the royal bug ambassador. Paint up the next area, and head down the stairs. Jump back down and continue heading south. Swim up the vine and then jump down to reach the gift containing the Bell. From there, jump back to the main structure and continue jumping across to reach the next screen on the east side. Jump left and then diagonally to reach the last piece of Litter. From there, jump across the left and then again to reach the pile of Litter in the center. From the edge, you can jump south to reach the Litter on the pillar near the bottom of the screen. Get onto the first ledge on the eastern side. The second area of the caverns contains three piles of Litter.

Once you’re ready to advance the main story, head to the section below, Grub Caverns. You may, however, want to hold off on exploring Dinners further until after you visit Grub Caverns (just because the climbing ability you earn there increases your ability to explore the world dramatically). See our full guide here for more details on How to Fast Travel (Transit Pass). You can get the transit pass inside City Hall, which is located on the northwestern corner of Dinners. This allows you to use the benches and fast travel across Picnic. The first thing you should do when you arrive at Dinners should be to get the Transit Pass. You’ll exit the tunnel and reach the city of Dinners. After grabbing the brush style gift, head back into the Brew Path and continue heading east.

There, you’ll find the gift containing the Pow Brush Style. Swim south and follow the path as it leads to another screen and eventually gets you outside. When you reach the large gap in the center, jump down. There’s a small detour you should make while going through Brew Path. Light up the area and jump across the gaps. Jump across the ledges to enter the cave that leads through Brew Path. Once you enter, Nibble Tunnel, head to the right.
